Recently, relying on its superior manufacturing processes and stringent quality control system, our company has successfully produced a batch of high-precision long shafts made of AISI 420 material, which have smoothly passed the on-site acceptance inspection by an international petrochemical enterprise customer. The products delivered this time feature strict specifications and extremely high technical difficulty. The shaft body adopts high-quality AISI 420 stainless steel, which delivers excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The finished products have a large dimensional span, with a maximum diameter of 70mm, a minimum diameter of 50mm, and a total length of 4560mm. Achieving high-precision machining with such a length-to-diameter ratio is highly challenging. Notably, the final product precision is controlled within 0–0.02mm, the runout tolerance is also strictly limited to 0–0.02mm, and the surface finish reaches Ra0.8. All indicators fully meet or even exceed customer expectations, winning high recognition from the international petrochemical client.

From raw material selection and heat treatment process optimization to CNC precision turning, grinding and ultra-precision finishing, every step embodies the painstaking efforts and wisdom of our technical team. Faced with technical bottlenecks in slender shaft processing such as easy deformation and difficulty in ensuring coaxiality, our engineering technicians formulated mature process plans. By adopting special tooling and fixtures, unique processing methods, and advanced on-line inspection means, we effectively overcome the impacts of thermal expansion, contraction and cutting stress, ensuring perfect consistency of the geometric tolerances of the entire shaft.
